DRUM SET

Materials

All drum set students should have the following:

• sticks - 2 pair, light to moderate weight drum set sticks (no snare drum sticks please).
• drum set - if you need help acquiring a drum set, please let me know.
• stick bag - any model/style
• additional sticks/brushes will be added as needed.

MUSIC

• Beginners
  • Drummer's Cookbook - John Pickering
  • Solo Studies, book 1 - Dennis Rogers
• Intermediate - as above, plus:
  • other music as needed.
• 3-ring binder - for handouts and musical examples discussed in lessons.
• a pencil - please bring a pencil to every lesson and keep one on your music stand at home - you will be expected to mark your music frequently.
• A positive attitude - come expecting to learn and to have fun.
