  • I have been educating percussionists of all ages for nearly three decades and have maintained successful teaching studios at the University of Iowa, Truman State University, the Geaorge Caleb Bingham Academy of the Arts, The Barstow School, Music/Arts Institute, and privately.

  • Former students have pursued advanced degrees at such schools as: The Juilliard School, the Berklee School of Music, USC-Thornton, Florida State University College of Music and UMKC Conservatory of Music. Many have gone on to successful performance careers in Los Angeles, Nashville and regionally, as well as non-performance related careers in the music industry.

  • I believe everyone has not only the right, but the ability to be successful studying percussion. Whether one's natural ability is strong or not, everyone has the potential to learn and grow, and each individual deserves my respect and best effort as an instructor.
